Happy to share an interview with the Winner of the DC International Pitch Competition. 
Miriam Pratter – team BrewCycle did a great job standing alone on stage. Unfortunately her team mates could not make it to Budapest but this did not stop Miriam from giving a brilliant pitch and from walking away with the first prize.  Congratulations Miriam!
BrewCycle turns brewery by-products into sustainable fertilisers thus closing the loop between beer production and agriculture.

Speaking about lessons learnt, Miriam pointed out to the importance of rehearsals and was thankful for the useful comments she had received from her mentor during the Semi Final. These obviously sharpened her pitching skills.
In addition, Miriam highlighted the power of team expertise when standing in the cross-fire of questions after a pitch.
