Danube Cup 2025 kicked off in Budapest
2025 will be packed with many exciting events organized by Danube Cup (DC), as it was pointed out at the annual kick-off event of the Hungarian branch of the international network: entrepreneurship pitch competitions for students and a Europe-wide conference for professors, lecturers and PhD students on entrepreneurship education will be held this year.
The event’s special guest, Tresorit ex-CEO István Lám (a BME Alumni himself) shared his own story and spoke about the ups and downs of starting a business venture. He presented success stories and shared good advice on pitching and challenges of startups’ growth.
DC co-founders Pál Danyi and János Vecsenyi gave a presentation in front of university students of entrepreneurship, at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) on
introducing the Hungarian Booster, a training course that help startup teams prepare for a successful startup business and pitching. The Booster will run over a course of 7 weeks between February and April.
highlighting key milestones and participation requirements of the pitch competition.
The Hungarian Pitch Competition Final will be held in English on April 10.
The DC International Pitch Competition will take place on May 23 in Budapest – hosted by Corvinus University of Budapest.
