to a preparatory training for the Danube Cup international start-up competition

Do you have a business idea? Are you working on your business plan? Would you like to compete in an international environment?

If yes, the Danube Cup competition is definitely for you!

And now the Corvinus University of Budapest and the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME GTK) are cooperating to offer a FREE OF CHARGE business development (entrepreneurship) BOOSTER training in English! The Danube Cup team has been providing practical training to future entrepreneurs for years so that they can gain the confidence and knowledge they need at the competition.

The BOOSTER course will run from February until April 2024 to prepare start-up teams for the Danube Cup International Entrepreneurial Pitch Competition for universities. In 2024, the competition will be organised by the Johannes Kepler Universitiy at Linz. Teams representing BME and Corvinus will be selected at the Hungarian Final competition held—in English—in mid April 2024 at BME.

WHAT WE OFFER:

A 6-week, intensive business dev course from late February to mid-April 2024. (Planned number of in-person lessons: 15; total number of hours including individual preparation: 30.)

All this is FREE for BME and Corvinus students, regardless of their major and programme.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must have a business idea that you take seriously.
It is preferred if you have a team, but you can apply individually as well.
Early stage: You must be past the ideation and market research phase, have a validation plan or even a preliminary prototype (MVP, pretotype, mock-up product, etc.).
Unfortunately, teams that have received funding from the market are not allowed at the Danube Cup competition (scholarships are not a problem).
You must be open to gaining experience and learning from experts.

HOW TO APPLY:
Every team should prepare a ONE PAGER on the venture, as welll as the introduction of the team members on one page, and send them by 23 February 2024 to
